This bag has been made by hand over time, and the bag pictured is the exact item you are purchasing. It is a true one of one offering from a single maker. Built with a heavy 14oz olive cotton canvas paired with black leather accents, it carries the feel of a crafted object rather than a produced item. The core hardware is solid brass, while the Chicago screws are brass plated for a consistent look throughout. The main bag tube is lined with our black sailcloth which adds strength and structure while keeping the carry lightweight. YKK waterproof zips secure the main compartment, which features our Times of Leisure bird embroidery. A Local GC monogram is embroidered on the side, and a built in water bottle holder sits neatly on the side of the main pocket for easy access on course.
The additional top pocket is designed to hold a phone, essentials, or a range finder, and is finished with the same YKK waterproof zip for a clean and uniform build. It is lined with matching canvas for a durable and tidy interior rather than a soft liner. The opening uses a 200mm or 8 inch stainless steel hoop with a full leather divider to hold shape and offer easy access.
A fiberglass rod spine runs through the body of the bag to add structure while keeping the overall weight low. A canvas hand hold has been added to the base to ensure a comfortable carry when lifting or repositioning the bag. The shoulder strap is built with open cell foam wrapped in a continuous canvas casing and finished with a black leather overlay for strength and comfort. The main strap is 3.5mm fine grain veg tanned buffalo leather belting. The bag weighs 1.64kg or 3.61lbs.

Every Sunday Bag will be made and released individually. They will not arrive in runs or batches. Each piece is crafted slowly. An ultra rare expression of Local GC craft, created for those who value honest production and the story behind what they carry. This item will be shipped free in NZ, shipping to AUS will be $100 due to size.

This is a Sunday-style carry bag. In the photos, the bag appears free-standing due to the internal fibreglass rod spine; however, a bottle of water has also been placed inside to add weight and help stabilise it. With clubs inside, these bags will not free-stand—this is not a stand bag.
We also aim to minimise our environmental impact. These bags are shipped in recycled golf bag boxes. While it would be great for them to arrive in a Local GC box, there are plenty of big-brand boxes heading to landfill each day, and we prefer to give those a second life.
